December 2018 in Review and January 2019 Goals

December has been a busy month with Lorianna’s 11th birthday and Christmas.  With everything going on, I barely had a spare moment to relax and breathe.  Once winter break started, our niece and nephew came over to play with the kids and Hailie was frequently going to the library with her boyfriend, cousin and friends.  I had less time to devote to the blog and social media, so I worked at it part time for the month of December.

Even working at blogging part time, I got a good number of posts up.  I was determined to do at least one a week, and easily did at least two a week.  My social media accounts also continue to grow at a decent rate.  For Twitter, I now have 2,241 followers and for Instagram I have 480 followers.  I wasn’t able to work out  much with 2 additional kids here during winter break, so I look forward to getting back to the Y for my workouts after school starts back on January 3rd.

We were able to spend a good amount of time hanging out as a family as well, and I love having my niece and nephew over.  We saw family who came in from New Mexico and had a good family gathering from Sean’s side on the 23rd.  Then on the 25th, we went to my grandmother’s house to enjoy Christmas.  I was glad when Christmas was over and look forward to getting back into a more normal routine after bringing in the New Year.

For January, my goal is to get back into blogging full time, and planning a couple of trips for the year.  I would like to take a small trip in April and another during the summer.  We will see how that all works out though.  My January goals are:

Twitter: Have 3000 followers.
Instagram: Have 600 followers
Facebook: Have 400 followers
YouTube: Have 100 subscribers
Post at least 2x a week on the blog.

Personal goals:
Get back to working out at least 3 days a week
Loose 5 pounds by the end of January
Get the kids back into their normal routine.
Finish cleaning out and organizing the pantry and start organizing the living room.

Travel goals:
Have an April trip planned out.  Not sure where to yet though.
Be thinking about summer break trip and possible early planning on it.

Let’s start this new year out on a positive note!  Welcome to 2019 everyone!
