The other day, when i was at school, my mom texted me saying there was a lockdown at Mary Todd. (Mary Todd is Leslie’s and Kyle’s school.) I asked her to see if it was a drill cause most schools have lockdown drills. She responded back with “No, this is a real lockdown. There is a murder threat around the school.” When she said that, I was really scared. Then I asked her, “How do you know that?” She said that she went to go get Kyle, then the school went into lockdown. So Kyle wasn’t at the school as long as Leslie. Some of the buses were delayed during this, including my own. But  I had to stay after school anyway. So i got lucky. Right as my mom got to the school, my bus pulled up at the school. (My bus is 1818.) But usually my younger siblings get home before me cause usually elementary schools get out before middle schools do. Middle school usually gets out around 4 and elementary schools around 3, but Leslie didn’t get out of school till round 5. Once I heard that Leslie was safe, I was soooooooo relieved that she was okay because she is still young. Think about it, if you had a sister that had a real lockdown, wouldn’t you be scared that something might happen to her? Would she be okay? Once you found out that she was okay, how would you feel?
