Klarbrunn Sparkling Water

Karblunn: The drink of bloggers.  Well this blogger anyway.  Whenever I sit down to start blogging, I always have my phone, a jar of peanuts and a can of Klarbrunn Sparkling water beside me.  A year ago, I decided that I was going to stop drinking pop and needed something to replace it.  I usually drink a lot of water, but wanted something different than water.  I was looking for something natural with no sweeteners.  If you have ever looked for something healthy to drink, you can probably imagine how hard it is to find something like that.

One day, as I was shopping through Kroger, they had samples of their Kroger brand seltzer water.  I had never had seltzer water before so I tried it.  I wasn’t overly impressed, it basically tasted like flat pop to me.  However, I needed something and found that I could tolerate drinking their cranberry lime seltzer water.  So I picked up a couple boxes of it.  It became my go to when I was craving pop.  It wasn’t really the same, but it did help with the cravings I had.  Soon I was drinking a box of seltzer water a day.  I tried some of the other brands they had there, but preferred the Kroger brand over the name brands available.

Fast forward 6 months, I was walking through Costco with my grandmother.  They had samples of Klarbrunn Sparkling water.  It was advertised as no calories and no sweeteners.  I decided to try it, expecting it to be like the other brands I had tried.  It wasn’t, it was refreshing without the tartness that I tasted in some of the other brands I had tried.  They were selling 30 packs for a little over six dollars.  I was spending almost three dollars for 12, so I decided to pick up a box of both they had available to give a little variety.  They had a lemon & lime box and a grapefruit & black cherry box.  4 flavors, 15 of each for $12.  I felt like it was worth giving it a try.  It would save me some money compared to the Kroger brand seltzer water I’d been buying.

So I got the boxes and brought them home.  I tried one of each and found that I liked them more than the Kroger brand seltzer water.  60 cans of Klarbrunn lasted me a little over a week.  So when I went back to Costco, I got two more boxes of them. I soon found that I was drinking 60 cans of Klarbrunn Sparkling Water a week.  I was getting the water that I needed with natural flavors and I was feeling so much better.  Which brings me back to today.  I’m still drinking Klarburnn Sparkling Water, maybe not 60 cans a week, I’m going closer to two weeks with them, I think.  I’ve gotten into the habit of when I’m getting ready to sit and blog, I’ll grab my peanuts, a glass of ice, and a can of Klarbrunn.

If you drink sparkling water, you need to look for Klarbrunn and try it out.  I think once you have had one, you will be hooked, just like me.  It doesn’t have the sharpness of some of the other brands out there.  Look for it at your local Costco today.  They have other flavors out there that I’ve not been able to find and try, however, I hope to try them some day.

I received no compensation for this review.  This is my own opinion on this product.

I’ve never heard of Klarbrunn but it sounds like a great alternative to water. I usually add a little squash to mine when I want something different.

It is a great alternative and you still get the bubbly from it. My husband doesn’t like it so much, but he’s used to drinking sweet tea and pop, and won’t allow the time it takes to get used to sparkling water. The problem I’ve found with any sort of additives is once again, they have artificial sweeteners in them. I try to stay away from artificial sweeteners. I’ll go for sugar before artificial sweeteners. But Klarbrunn is nothing more than bubbly water. No sweeteners of any sort.
