October in review and November 2018 Goals

Now that October is over and November is here, it’s time for some new goals!  For October, my goals were to reach 1000 Twitter followers and to post at least 2 times a week on my blog.  I reached both of these goals, sometimes posting daily and focusing on reaching my Twitter goal.  The one goal that I didn’t reach was to get at least 100 views in one day on my blog.  I got close with 93, but didn’t reach that 100 views in one day.

We had an amazing trip to the Indianapolis Zoo in October. If you missed it, you can read about that trip here. We also had a lot of fun at the Fire Prevention Festival! I tried a couple of new products and reviewed them on my blog.  Leslie wrote her first blog about why she loves dolphins and wants to be a dolphin trainer when she grows up.  If you haven’t read it, you really should.  You can find it here.  All in all, October was a good month for us.

For November, I’m going to focus on Facebook and Instagram.  I’m hoping to get 300 followers on both platforms.  I also want to TRY and do my first video post.  I’m still not confident with talking on camera, but perhaps one of my kids can do it.  I will continue to try and get 100 views on my blog in one day.  I want to do two posts on places to visit in Kentucky, and have a few ideas for that.  If anyone has any suggestions of places they would be interested in seeing posted, I’m open to checking those places out.  I want to get two guest posts this month and hope to get another from my 8 year old daughter.  If anyone would be interested in being featured on my blog, again, please let me know.

I will continue to workout, and want to do at least 3 days a week, every week in November.  I also want to get Hailie in there at least once a week.

And of course, continue to focus on eating healthy and continuing healthy habits that I started in October as well as having 1 day a week for just me and Hailie.  With that being said, what October goals did you meet?  Did you fall short anywhere?  What are some goals that you have made for November that you hope to reach?  Have a great month!

Good luck with your social media goals. Instagram is such a hard platform to crack. So many fake people on there playing the follow/unfollow game!

Thanks! Yeah I’ve noticed that my Instagram numbers don’t change much, but I keep trying. I’m not too worried about it, because if they don’t want to follow me, they will miss out on great experiences and posts, as well as my daily updates. That’s their loss. I love those who are there and keep encouraging me though!
